About Us
Liberty Electric was founded in 1979 in Chester, MT by Marvin Wilson.
The business consisted of one 1967 pickup, a few tools and approximately $4,000 of inventory.
Today Liberty Electric is owned by Janice Couch and Clay Ledbetter. Liberty Electric is known as the premier electrical contractor in North Central and Western Montana, with locations in Missoula, Great Falls, Bozeman and Fort Benton.
Liberty Electric provides our customers with only the best electrical technicians. These highly trained field employees and project managers have the skill and experience to provide you with the best possible solution for your home and business.
Credentials
Liberty Electric maintains a high degree of professional qualifications. The core of our field employees is composed of licensed, master electricians. They are supported by a number of apprentices and general laborers.
We employ three graduates of the prestigious Purdue University Project Management for Electricians course. Our electricians hold many select industry certifications and are licensed in Montana, Idaho, Washington and Wyoming.
